Best of both worlds
You know what’s some nonsense?
That somewhere along the path to adulthood we’re expected to start pretending that backpacks aren’t the best way to carry stuff. That’s some old-timey crap that you just know is rooted in insecure dudes in the 1900s deciding that shoulder straps made you a communist or something. Listen, Mad Men, briefcases had a good run and all, but maybe we’re all done taking fashion advice from people who wore loafers and suspenders to cut the grass.
Backpacks are just…better. They’re better for comfort and they’re better for organization. They’re better for walking and they’re better for carrying.
Third graders know this. College students know this. Mountain climbers know this. We all know this.
So why are so many of us still running around, banging our stupid briefcase-looking laptop bags off of door frames and airplane seats when we all know that we solved this problem in grade school? We’re thinking it’s some combination of adult-ish social stigmas combined with the admittedly true fact that those over-the-shoulder bags are pretty handy when it comes to containing computers and folders and tablets and whatever.
So what’s a person to do? Get the best of both worlds, obviously. a briefcase and it’s a backpack. It’s tough to ask for much more than that

•It’s a backpack.
